The British Deer Society is dedicated to providing a website that is fully accessible and easy to use for a wide range of audiences, in order to achieve this we aim to adhere to a range of web standards and guidelines as set out by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

W3C Standards Compliance

The website has been built using modern technologies compliant with the W3C standards with the aim to render the website suitably in all modern browsers.
It is our recommendation that you upgrade your browser to the latest version of your web browser to ensure the website is rendered correctly. Outdated browsers may not be able to display all elements of the website correctly.
Changes to the website may need to be made for newer versions of browsers in the future.

Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

The British Deer Society website aims to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) as outlined by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in order to make content accessible for all users.

Responsive Website Framework

In addition to ensuring the website is accessible on all modern browsers we have also built the website using a fully responsive framework technology to render the website correctly on all sizes of screens including mobile and tablet devices.
